Clients often tell me their goal is to play the guitar or other musical instruments. They focus on learning scales, modes, technique, chords, rhythm, music reading, etc.
Many of them wander every day through a tangle of exercises to master the guitar one day.
It ain’t the right focus since playing the guitar is not a real goal.
Mastering an instrument is a tool to achieve a certain goal.
